My Blog

The CD’s just arrived last night! So excited, now to get to signing them and ready for mail out on the 25th.

If you didn’t know, I hired MTS Management to handle publicity and press for me and all I can say is Wow! It hasn’t even been a week yet and I’m blown away with the press and response to the pre-release of “More Than Just a Farm” thank you all who have listened and liked it! I am truly humbled!!! When I began this project I figured I would just do it and never really thought much about the success of it. I did it because I love to sing and wanted to sing songs that I thought told great stories. What I’m hearing from folks is they are totally relating to the songs and enjoying them. That is my success. Bringing joy to those who listen.

That being said, Triplestrand promotions is going to be playing “More Than Just a Farm” worldwide. Several Indie stations are already playing it and I’ll be doing several interviews over the next couple months. There have already been several write-ups as well and again all I can say, is “wow, thank you and I am humbled.”

On totally different subject, I’m so proud of all my kids, but I have to give a special shout to Ben and Colton, they began wrestling this year and both have done a great job of working out hard and learning moves. Both now have a record of 5 wins, 1 loss. City finals will be next week and I will be there screaming loudly, cheering them on. It is really fun!

Last subject for this post, you’ve hopefully already made note but March 2, 7pm at Sourdough Mining Co, is the launch party for “It’s All Country.” I have some good friends singing that night for us and my good friend Steve Franklin from KBear will be our MC for the night. We will be playing a game like “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” using the six new songs on the CD. Listen to the clips and know the lyrics. The winner will receive a signed copy of the CD and hopefully have a ton of fun doing it! See ya’ll there!
