Wow... for many years now, I’ve thought about trying to get into the music scene more then playing and singing in church. Don’t get me wrong, I love that and I do believe God has called me to the ministry, but I’ve wondered if there was another avenue that God could use me to reach more. The past several weeks, I’ve really begun to get serious about how to do this. I’ve joined the ICMANET (Independent Country Musicians Network) and have made some great friends already. I’ve networked with a few writers and have selected several songs for my upcoming project. I’m praying God will allow me to get this project off the ground and to completion by the end of March 2012. Seems like a long way off, but there is a lot to do and a lot of money to get things done right. I’ve finished my long awaited demo and have been sending it out to several folks. The next step is putting together a music video to the song “Voices.” Hope to have that done before Christmas. Lots of things in the works... so what about right now? Well, currently I’m performing each week at TGI Friday’s on Tudor Road here in Anchorage, from 7-9. Come on out and join me and the KBEAR crew for Western Wednesday’s. We have a great time and I’ll be offering a few special gifts each week.
